The factory applied, inert silica glass-fused-to-steel coating process provides long-life internal and external corrosion resistant protection. A proprietary silica glass-fused-to-steel tanks formulation is fired onto both sides of the tank panels in a furnace at over 1,500º F to create a permanently bonded coating. This means that Aquastore glass fused to steel tanks do not have to be taken out of service for periodic sand blasting and repainting, EVER!
